The Red Pigs Festival – or the art of extending the Festival of Music with a choice of artists as bold as they are punchy.
For a few days, a festive atmosphere and renowned artists of national and international stature take over the stage of the festival, which takes place in the open air in the centre of the town of Payerne. The contrast is obvious: a music festival featuring modern sounds a few steps from the Abbey church, a majestic historical monument dating from the 11th century.
For its 15th edition, the Red Pigs Festival will welcome Jean-Baptiste Guégan, vocal double of Johnny Hallyday, as well as Superbus and Pegasus with their funky pop-rock. Babylon Circus, Les Fils du Facteur, Krüüg and Ourselves are also on the programme for the free evening.
