Discover the Espace Roger Monney in Bellerive, a place dedicated to the works of this wrought-iron artist, where creativity and a passion for metal meet.
Welcome to the Espace Roger Monney, a place dedicated to the memory and works of ironworker and sculptor Roger Monney, affectionately known as the ‘Vully Vulcan’. Located in Bellerive, in the municipality of Vully-les-Lacs in Switzerland, this space was inaugurated in 2022 in the artist's former home, carefully renovated by his brothers, Joseph and Marc, and close friends.
The Espace Roger Monney offers visitors a chance to immerse themselves in the artist's creative world. You can discover around sixty of his works, his studio preserved as he left it, and emblematic elements of his work, such as his anvil and a collection of 10 tonnes of selected scrap metal.
Since its opening, the space has organised regular exhibitions and cultural events. To mark its third anniversary in March 2025, open days are scheduled for 22 and 23 March, from 10 am to 6 pm. Visitors will be able to admire the works of Roger Monney, André Prin's paintings, and the creations of other artisans, all accompanied by musical entertainment.
